**ONLINE CLASS** Enjoy access to all of this information to help you prepare for labour from the comfort of your own home. Feel confident as you prepare for birth and recovery! This 2.5 hour class will review the stages of labour and explore your options for coping with labour and postpartum recovery. Topics covered include: • Overview of stages of labour • What to pack in your labour bag • How partner can help during labour • Creating a calm labour environment • Reducing fear and anxiety • Non-medical coping strategies • Movement & positions for comfort • Medications for pain management • What to expect at Royal Inland Hospital • How to have a smoother recovery • Tips for a happy postpartum period This class is intended to help you build a toolbox for labour and recovery, and will discuss your options and what to expect here in Kamloops. It is recommended to take this class at least 1 month before your due date.
