Don’t Be a Diva, be a Fotona With Multi-Dimensional Laser Treatment

You could call it a magic machine.

Countless clients, along with Dr. Corrina Iampen, owner and physician of Sensei Laser and Vein Rejuvenation Centre in West Kelowna say that results from the Fotona 4D laser are remarkable when it comes to improving many disorders such as sleep, urinary incontinence, tightening and brightening skin and so much more.

The Fotona 4D is unlike similar procedures as it uses a series of synergistic, non-invasive laser treatments of both the exterior face and interior oral cavity. This process enables full thickness contraction of collagen for persistent tightening and voluminous edition without injectables. This technology, according to Dr. Iampen, provides incredible non-surgical results.

Dr. Iampen explained that the production of collagen reduces as we age causing our skin to lose laxity and create wrinkles, adding that collagen can be sustained with healthy lifestyle choices such as the use of sunscreen and consumption a healthy diet that includes of plenty of water.
Some of the other more common treatments the Fotona is used for are stress urinary incontinence, vaginal relaxation syndrome and vaginal atrophy.

Dr. Iampen uses the Intimilase Fotona laser that incorporates a photo thermal heating effect on collagen in both the vaginal walls and the urethra which causes restructuring and re-growth of the collagen. The Intimilase is a simple, non-surgical, 15 minute, in-office procedure that is highly effective, pain free and safe, assured Dr. Iampen.

The same effectiveness and pain-free results with the Incontilase Fotona laser can also be achieved for women experiencing incontinence, a common problem that causes the involuntary loss of urine during coughing, sneezing, laughing or physical exertion. This treatment is one that doesn’t require constant awareness or time that is required by muscular training that is often prescribed and a client won’t experience any surgical discomfort or anxiety.

Feeling rested and healthier after a good night sleep is something everyone strives for, but snoring can keep millions of people from experiencing a restful  sleep. Dr Iampen explained that snoring occurs when air is not able to move freely through our nose and mouth during sleep. This is due to a narrowing of our airway which causes the tissues to vibrate and make an audible sound. As an option to avoiding surgery or uncomfortable sleep devices, Dr. Iampen assists patients by reducing their snoring up to 50 per cent with a series of treatments using the NighLase, Fotona laser system.

“NighLase is a leading-edge laser procedure that is non-invasive, easy and effective,” said Dr. Iampen. The laser energy heats the tissues of the airway causing a tightening effect which helps to keep the airway open.

Dr. Iampen and her staff are well trained and are totally devoted to help their clients and patients to achieve successful treatments and are open six days a week to service the retired and working clients. They will soon be opening their brand new second location downtown Kelowna. For more information or to book a consultation with Dr. Iampen, visit www.senseilaser.org
