PENTICTON - The weather will cool off this weekend — a lucky break for triathletes competing in the second Challenge Penticton race on Sunday.
There is a chance of rain Thursday through Saturday, with Sunday being the only day not calling for showers.
There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday, with a high of 25 Celcius. Friday calls for light rain and a high of 19 C. Saturday will see a high of 22 C and isolated showers, while Sunday will be mainy sunny with a high of 24 C.
Challenge festivities begin Thursday, Aug. 21 and are welcome to people of all ages.
