PENTICTON - An aspiring young stock car driver in the South Okanagan is looking for your vote to help him win sponsorship money to put towards his racing career.

Conrad Brightman, 18, of Kaleden has entered the 2017 Search for a Champion contest and could win up to $50,000 in sponsorship.

Brightman won the 2016 Hornet Car Championship at Penticton Speedway last summer and placed first in six of 15 races during last year’s season.

You can vote for Brightman once per day until Feb. 2 in the contest, which is open to Canadian drivers for the first time this year.
