MORE THAN A DOZEN ACCIDENTS
KELOWNA - Drivers need to slow down travelling the Okanagan Connector as more than a dozen traffic accidents have already taken place today thanks to fog and snow.
A West Kelowna RCMP officer said police vehicles, ambulances, fire trucks and tow trucks have attended more than 15 crashes. No major injuries have been reported so far. Some vehicles have simply left the road and stuck in ditches.
The officer reminded the public to avoid travelling entirely or at least to slow down when out on the connector.
