KAMLOOPS - The week starts off with clouds, showers and a chance of thunderstorms in Kamloops but the good news is the hot weather should be back by Thursday.
The forecast for today, Aug. 8, is mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers, the a risk of an afternoon thunderstorm and a high of 24 Celsius, according to Environment Canada. The overnight low is 16 C.
We'll see mainly cloudy skies with a 60 per cent chance of showers tomorrow. The high is expected to reach 24 C with a low of 16 C.
Wednesday's high should reach 27 C, with a mix of sun and cloud. In the evening the predicted low is 15 C.
Things will turn around Thursday, with sunny skies and a high of 31 C. The sunshine and above normal temperatures will stick around through the rest of the week and into the weekend.
Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 29 C and lows of 14 C.
