KELOWNA - More than 70 artists will soon have their best work on display at the Bring out your Best exhibition at the Kelowna Art Gallery.

The gallery asked the public to submit pieces for inclusion in the exhibition. The large response means the show will feature a variety of media including photography, painting, sculpture and mixed media. The Bring out your Best event will be on display in The Front project space of the gallery for six weeks, Dec. 13 to Jan. 25.

“It is always exciting to see the wide range of works contributed for the annual members’ exhibition,” says Nataley Nagy, Executive Director at the Gallery. “We are once again thrilled to be able to share these with the community as one of the many ways we give back to our valued members for their ongoing support.”

An opening reception to celebrate the artistic accomplishments of these individuals will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Kelowna Art Gallery. This is a free event, open to members and guests, by invitation. This event will coincide with the Gallery’s holiday celebration for members.

The Kelowna Art Gallery is located at 1315 Water Street in downtown Kelowna. For more information about current exhibitions, public programming or special events, please visit the Kelowna Art Gallery online at www.kelownaartgallery.com.
