VANCOUVER - Vancouver police have called off a search for a British tourist who's been missing for more than a month.

Twenty-two-year-old Tom Billings was last seen in Vancouver on Nov. 25 before heading to the mountains of North Vancouver for a hike.

Const. Brian Montague says all leads have been exhausted and crews won't be actively searching the mountains unless police receive new credible information.

North Shore Search and Rescue will continue to look for clues while on other searches.

Billings was supposed to return to the U.K. in early December after wrapping up a North America vacation with a final stop in New York, but he never made it.
