Where to go Easter egg hunting this weekend

The B.C. Wildlife Park will be one of three places hosting Easter egg hunts this weekend.

KAMLOOPS - As we wait for the long weekend to come our way, the little ones are anticipating the Easter bunny’s arrival. To take them Easter egg hunting or — let’s be honest, to take part in an Easter egg hunt yourself — here are three events happening this weekend.

Sun Peaks is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday, March 27. Join the Easter Bunny and Harry Bear to ski around and look for chocolate treats. The hunt begins at the top of the Sunburst Chairlift at 10:30 a.m.

From March 25 to 28, the B.C. Wildlife Park will host its Easter Egg-citement event from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. During those four days, there will be an Easter egg hunt for kids 12 and under, a pancake breakfast from 9:30 to 11 a.m., bouncy inflatables, colouring contest, Uncle Chris the clown, scavenger hunt and animal feedings. Ronald McDonald will make a special appearance from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. For more information, click here.

The Sahali Mall will host its Easter celebration on March 26 with an egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Bold Pizzeria will be on scene to sell pizza by the slice and pony rides will be available in the parking lot. For more information, click here.
