West Kelowna annual report ready

The District of West Kelowna has prepared its 2012 Annual Report and it is ready for public review.
The 2012 Annual Report provides an accounting of the District of West Kelowna's financial position, as well as highlights of the programs and services delivered and the projects undertaken throughout the year.
Publication of an Annual Report is a legislated requirement for all BC municipalities. The report must include audited financial statements and permissive tax exemptions. The document should include reporting on municipal services and operations, performance measures and objectives.
The District of West Kelowna's 2012 Annual Report also includes added features such as a progression time line, references to Council’s Strategic Priorities and 2012 Citizens' Survey results. Paper copies are available at Municipal Hall or online at www.districtofwestkelowna.ca.
Council will consider the 2012 Annual Report at its July 9, 2013 meeting beginning at 1:30 p.m. Any written submissions regarding the 2012 Annual Report must be submitted to the Corporate Services Office by Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. The public will be provided an opportunity to be heard at the July 9 meeting.
