KELOWNA – Kelowna’s first major PGA-affiliated event provided golf fans with a weekend of world class play, but it also left behind some amazing aerial footage shot as part of a promotion for the event.

The GolfBC Championship was part of The Mackenzie Tour, a series of tournaments played across Canada each summer. The Mackenzie Tour is an important opportunity for young players hoping to one day play in the PGA.

From June 6 to June 12 Gallagher’s Canyon Golf and Country Club hosted the Mackenzie Tour event, which raised $150,000 for the B.C. Cancer Agency.

On July 14 they released a high quality video shot during the tournament that includes footage from a helicopter and around the Okanagan’s largest city.
