VERNON - Between the city and CN work crews, drivers can expect closures and delays at a couple different intersections around the city.

A 'water main failure' early Wednesday morning has also led to delays in the 32 Street and 40 Avenue area of the city. The failure occurred at 4007 32 Street and six businesses experienced water disruption. Repairs have been completed and the main is now being flushed and service has been returned to the area. Drivers are asked to slow down and obey flaggers still in the area.

At the railway crossing on Highway 97 north Swan Lake CN crews will be replacing the crossing on Thursday, Oct. 30 and southbound highway traffic will be detoured onto Old Kamloops Road. The work is expected to last just one day.
