VERNON - Sonja and Peter Laschuk have been to Las Vegas more times than they can count, but never on an expenses paid vacation.

After winning InfoTel's Las Vegas contest, they are thrilled to be going back.

"You enter, and you don't really think about winning, you don't expect to," Sonja says.

On her daily visits to the InfoTel website to catch up on local news, Sonja would re-enter the contest.

"I don't enter a lot of online contests, I'm leery of a lot of sites," Sonja says. "But I know InfoTel is a secure site."

While she's been to Vegas numerous times, she's never won a big contest in her life. It was a first she very much enjoyed.

"It was exciting," she says, of the moment she opened the fortuitous email. "I said, is this for real?"

The Laschuks haven't gambled much on their previous visits, but with Sonja's winning streak, they may be visiting the slots this time around. Most of all, they're looking forward to the concerts.

"We want to see Celine for sure," Peter says. "We'll see more when we get there."

The couple loves to travel, but didn't manage to get anywhere this past year.

"This is definitely going to help," Peter says.

Bolstered by her recent good luck, Sonja has set her sights on InfoTel's next prize: an Apple Macbook Pro. See the InfoTel homepage for more on how to enter.

"I'm going to get that Apple," she says with a smile.
