Vee's Amantea commits to Anchorage

PENTICTON – The Penticton Vees Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce forward Cam Amantea (94) has committed to the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Amantea is the third Vees to commit to the Seawolves this season and will be joining current teammates Anthony Conti and Olivier Mantha in Anchorage.

President, General Manager and Head Coach Fred Harbinson, “Cam is the consummate team guy; versatile and willing to play any role asked. That character he brings to the Vees will no doubt make UAA a better program.”

The 19 year-old Amantea is in his second season with the Vees after graduating from the Edge School for Athletes in Calgary, Alberta. With Amantea’s commitment, the Vees now have 16 players on their roster with an NCAA Division l scholarship. The Vees are back in action Wednesday, October 16th, when they host the Merritt Centennials at the SOEC; puck drop is 7pm.
