Nashville judge warns man accused of stalking country singer John Rich to stop 'playing games'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A Nashville judge has issued a stern warning to a man accused of stalking country music singer John Rich.

The Tennessean (http://tnne.ws/1np165H ) reports the judge on Wednesday told Mark "Chris" Sevier to stop "playing games" with the court or go to jail.

Sevier faces two counts of aggravated stalking and one count of criminal impersonation after being accused of stalking Rich at a Nashville coffee shop. He has pleaded not guilty and is free on bond awaiting trial.

A prosecutor asked that Sevier's bond be revoked, saying he sent an email to court officials just before midnight Friday saying he was "moving" to New York that weekend. The judge warned Sevier but didn't revoke the bond.

Rich was part of the duo Big & Rich, who had the hit, "Comin' to Your City."
