KAMLOOPS - A truck spun into the oncoming lane and flipped before landing in the ditch during a early morning collision north of the Yellowhead Highway.
The accident happened at the Halston Road intersection at about 4:40 a.m. Police say a vehicle travelling southbound towards the intersection was struck in the rear by another southbound vehicle moving at a high rate of speed. Two occupants were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver that caused the accident fled in their vehicle before police arrived. The people in the vehicle that was struck told Mounties they could only guess the other person may have been driving a Dodge pickup truck.
Anyone with information can contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
