KELOWNA - Upgrades are underway at the intersection of KLO Road and Gordon Drive to replace aging traffic signals.
The majority of the work will be performed outside of peak commute times, from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., to minimize traffic delays. Rotating, single lane closures will also be in effect. The upgrades are scheduled to be completed by Nov. 21.
Both KLO Road and Gordon Drive will remain open throughout the work period; minor traffic delays are to be expected between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m daily. Motorists are expected to obey traffic control personnel and to watch for crews on-site.
The City of Kelowna appreciates patience of motorists during these improvements. Visit kelowna.ca/roadreport to plan your commute.
