Motorists can expect traffic disruptions including a lane closure with detours from Monday, May 6 to Friday May 10 as the District of West Kelowna finishes the Boucherie Road – Wine Route Upgrade project.

The construction area is on Boucherie Road from Stuart Road to Highway 97 with final paving and line painting occurring between 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily from May 6 to 10.

Northbound traffic on Boucherie Road will be detoured east on Stuart Road to Hayman Road northbound and then back onto Boucherie Road adjacent to the Highway 97 intersection. Alternatively, motorists can take Hudson Road to Highway 97 to avoid the construction zone.

Southbound traffic will stay on Boucherie Road through the construction zone, following signage and flag person direction around the closure.

The District of West Kelowna thanks the public for their patience and asks drivers to respect traffic signs and flaggers and crews working in the area.
