Three home games this week for Blazers

KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers play at home on Wednesday, Saturday and on B.C. Family Day Monday this week. The hockey club hosts the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday, Feb. 4, the Kelowna Rockets Saturday, Feb. 7 and the Tri-City Americans on Monday, Feb. 9.

Wednesday night is ‘First Nations Night’. The Sage Hill Drummers will be performing in a pre-game ceremony as well as in the second intermission. There will be plenty of First Nations flavour throughout the building including intermission hockey and booths on the concourse. Wednesday is also another ‘Pub Night’ with discounted popcorn and select beer for $4 and pop only $1.

Saturday, Feb. 7 is ‘Jersey Night’ when the Blazers host the Rockets in the second game of a home-and-home series.  Game time is 7 p.m. at the ISC. Fans are encouraged to wear jerseys to the game for the chance to win prizes.  It's also the Canadian Western Bank hockey card giveaway featuring Connor Ingram and Quinn Benjafield.

Monday, Feb. 9 against the Tri-City Americans will be a 2 p.m. matinee game for the B.C. Family Day holiday. Fans are encouraged to wear their pajamas or onesies to the game and enjoy the concession special courtesy of Compass Foods - popcorn will be just $4 and pop $1 for this game.  B.C. Tree Fruits will be giving away apple snacks on the concourse as part of Apple Month.

There is also the opportunity for fans to grab the Pratt's Pharmacy hockey set from the RCMP on the concourse featuring Matt Revel and Nick Chyzowski.

Following the afternoon game on Monday, Feb. 9, there will be a free fan skate with the entire Blazers team. Blazers players will skate and visit with fans, as well as be available for autographs and photos.

Following the skate, the team will head to Red Robin in Sahali for dinner. Any fans who would like to join the Blazers at Red Robin are encouraged to make reservations with the restaurant. Blazers players will be available to sit and eat with fans, as well as sign autographs and take photos. Estimated time of arrival at Red Robin is 5:30 p.m.

FAMILY DAY TICKET PROMOTION

The Kids Night ticket promotion will apply to the Family Day afternoon game on Monday, Feb. 9. Receive a free child ticket with the purchase of an adult or senior ticket for this game.
