PENTICTON - Members of the Penticton RCMP’s Target Enforcement Unit arrested a Penticton woman following complaints of drug trafficking at the Penticton Lakeside Casino last week.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says officers arrested Jennifer Lynn Montgomery outside the casino around 6 p.m., Sept. 8, after security staff observed her acting suspiciously.
Montgomery was found to have in her possession a quantity of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and cash. She is facing three charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of a controlled substance and a count of possession of stolen property.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 19.
Montgomery has had previous brushes with the law, having been arrested in January of this year after a two month investigation into drug trafficking at her Penticton Avenue residence. She was released on bail in March, only to be arrested again in June leaving her residence with a quantity of cocaine, meth and heroin. A search warrant was issued for her home and police found drugs and cash inside.
Montgomery was out on bail at the time of her arrest last week.
