PENTICTON - Motorcycle gear and a quad were stolen in two separate break and enters in Penticton last week.

Penticton RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says sometime between 1a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27 thieves threw a tire jack through the north side window of Vantage Powersports on Industrial Avenue.

Racing gear and motorcycle helmets were taken.

Wrigglesworth says police continue to investigate the incident, noting the suspects left some evidence at the scene. He didn't say what that evidence was.

Police also received a report of a break-in at a Dunant Place home in Penticton around 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 27.

A black, enclosed SnowBear trailer with license WBV 57D was reported missing, along with the blue, 2007 Polaris quad with license 2C3 154 inside, Wrigglesworth says.

Thieves also attempted to steal a boat trailer, but it was locked up.
