KAMLOOPS - The Salvation Army on Tranquille Road was cleaning broken glass this morning after someone allegedly entered the building to steal from their safe overnight.

A staff member opening the store in the morning May 13 noticed the broken window and called police. They saw the alarm was disabled and the safe broken into.

It appears the culprits left with a computer and cash.

RCMP are investigating and want to identify those responsible. Anyone with information can contact the Kamloops detachment at 250-828-3000 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
