Thief makes off with eco-friendly clothing in Vernon store break-in

VERNON - A downtown Vernon clothing store was broken into early Saturday morning.

Police say a window at Shambala Clothing Co., an eco-friendly import store, was smashed about 5:45 a.m. on April 23. 

A thief made off with $2,000 worth of clothing, Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says.

Police are hoping the suspect was caught on camera and investigators are checking out the video surveillance footage. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171, or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
