The weekend forecast looks good, Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - Environment Canada says the weekend should bring temperatures in the mid-20s, slightly higher than the average for this time of year.

Today, Sept. 8, will be mostly cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of rain. It could get gusty in the afternoon, with predicted winds of 30 kilometres per hour. Expect a high of 20 Celsius.

The sun should be out tomorrow morning, with clouds expected to roll in around noon. There's a forecasted high of 24 C, and the overnight low is expected to drop down to 11 C.

Saturday should be the warmest of the weekend, with a forecasted high of 25 C. Plan for mixed sun and cloud during the day, and an overnight low of 10 C.

Clear skies and a high of 21 C are predicted for Sunday.

The seasonal average high temperature for this time of year is 23 C.
