OKANAGAN - The B.C. Day long weekend is going to be perfect for getting outdoors in the Okanagan with warm temperatures and very little rain in the forecast.
Environment Canada is calling for sunshine and a high of 33 Celsius today, July 28, which is higher than the seasonal normal of 27 C. The UV index for the day is 8 or very high. The temperature will drop to around 15 C in the evening.
Expect mainly sunny skies tomorrow with a high of 33 C and a low of 15. The wind will pickup to 20 kilometres per hour in the afternoon.
On Saturday it will be sunny with some cloudy periods and a high of 28 C. The mercury will fall to 13 C overnight.
Sunday will be cooler with a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 24 C and an overnight low of 10 C. There is also a 30 per cent chance of showers.
It's back to the sunshine B.C. Day on Monday with a high of 27 C.
