Surveillance photo of CJ Fowler on night of murder released by RCMP

Photo from Royal Inland Hospital Surveillance taken at 2:54 a.m. night of Fowler's death.

Kamloops RCMP have released a surveillance photo of 16-year-old C.J. Fowler hoping it will trigger the memory of anyone who saw her before she was murdered two weeks ago.

The video surveillance photo was taken at 2:54 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Royal Inland Hospital.

The image shows Fowler wearing blue jeans, a pink tank-top, a black and grey plaid jacket and a larger medium green jacket the night of her death.

"If it spurs a memory or spurs an event of a memory, give us a call," said Kamloops RCMP Const. Bernie Ward.

While police have already released a timeline of her known locations throughout that day, Ward refused to say if the hospital was her last known whereabouts. He said investigators don't want to narrow potential leads in the investigation.

It has been two weeks since Fowler's remains were found by someone walking their dog in the Guerin Creek area in central Kamloops.

Her killer is still at large and questions remain as to why and how she was killed and why she turned up in the central Kamloops location.
