KELOWNA - With hundreds of programs, classes and leagues available this spring season, it’s time to break out of hibernation mode. The spring 2017 Activity and Program Guide will be available for viewing online on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Dive into the guide to find swim lessons, sport leagues art, cooking and dance classes plus many more. Find programs for all ages and abilities at over 25 locations across Kelowna. Reinvigorate those 2017 resolutions with a fitness class or sign up for a pass to the Parkinson Recreation Centre pool and fitness centre.

Registration begins the following week on Tuesday, March 7.

Spring registration dates and times:

March 7:   General Programs (7:30 a.m.)
March 9:   Aquatics and First Aid (7:30 a.m.)
March 10: Sports Leagues (7:30 a.m.)
Programs for Persons with a Disability (9:30 a.m.)

Registration is already open for spring break camps with full and partial day camps that offer something for all interests including drama, sports and art camps.

Set up an online registration account in advance to avoid any registration lineups and register from the comfort of home. Call 250-469-8800 to set up an account pin and client barcode.

Hard copies of the guide will be available at H20 Adventure & Fitness Centre, Glenmore IGA, Parkinson Recreation Centre and Rutland Arena on Wednesday, March 1.

Additional program information and registration is available in person at the Parkinson Recreation Centre, by phone at 250-469-8800 or online at kelowna.ca/recreation.

Connect with Active Living and Culture in a new way. Ask a question or provide feedback online directly through Live Chat.  Account pins and barcodes will still need to be set by phone. Look for the Live Chat icon at the bottom of Active Living and Culture website pages on kelowna.ca.
