Spring has sprung in Kamloops, bringing temperatures in the teens all week

KAMLOOPS – Today is the first day of spring and it should bring plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the teens all week in Kamloops, which are right on par with the seasonal averages for this time of year. Overnight lows are finally above freezing for the week.

Today, March 20, looks like it'll be the sunniest day of the week, with a projected high of 10 Celsius and a low of 1 C overnight, according to the forecast from Environment Canada. 

The forecast tomorrow calls for a cloudy day with high of 11 C and a 40 per cent chance of rain showers or flurries.

It will be cloudy on Wednesday with a high of 13 C and a low of 0 C overnight.

The sun will poke through on Thursday with a high of 12 C and a low of 3 C overnight. It will be cloudy on Friday with a high of 14 and an overnight low of 5 C.

The weather should clear up somewhat on the weekend with a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday and Sunday, and highs around 14 C.

Seasonally normal temperatures in Kamloops are highs of about 12 C and lows around 0 C.
