UPDATE: Coquihalla snowfall warning lifted

THOMPSON-OKANAGAN - The snowfall warning issued yesterday evening for Highway 5 from Hope to Merritt has been lifted. 

Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning yesterday, March 11 at 4:30 p.m. calling for harsh conditions and heavy snowfall.

A weather system moving over B.C.'s southern interior was responsible for spreading approximately 20 centimetres of snow on the mountain pass.
