PENTICTON - Slayer, along with Anthrax and Death Angel, will make a stop in the Okanagan as part of the Mighty Triumvirate Tour this fall.

The trio of 1980s thrash metal bands will play the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Tickets go on say Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m.

Slayer fans can expect to hear songs from the bands 30 year history including from their latest album Repentless album. Slayer has a reputation for being the "supreme thrash-metal band on the planet," according to a media release.

"It’s always super fun for us to tour with Anthrax. Put that together with Death Angel and fans will probably see the best package this year," Slayer's Kerry King says in the release.

Tickets are $69 and $79 and can be purchased in person at the Valley First Box Office at the events centre, at the Wine Country Visitor Centre, by phone at 1-877-763-2849, or online at ValleyFirstTix.com.
