Shining the light on SustainAbility

Are you a woman wanting to feed your body, mind and spirit, while meeting new friends and potential business connections?

You’ll get all this and more at the next Women 4 SustainAbility event entitled Shining the LIGHT on SustainAbility. The Fresh Outlook Foundation is partnering with the Lake Country Art Gallery and Lake Country ArtWalk to host the event at Lake Country Coffee House Tuesday, September 22nd from 5:30-8:30pm.

By experiencing the 2015 ArtWalk theme and gallery presentation of 'Light,' you will connect with other women to explore how the various art pieces trigger ideas about all aspects of sustainability. For example, how can a painting that showcases abstract 'light' bulbs prompt you to think about energy efficiency? Or, how does a stunning sunrise photo reflect your experience with en'light'enment? Or, how can you be a shining ‘light’ in your community?

There are only 60 tickets available, so get yours today at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/women-4-sustainability-shining-the-light-on-sustainability-tickets-17907100620. Tickets are $35 and include a three-course meal, coffee and tea. Wine is available for purchase by the glass.

The Fresh Outlook Foundation envisions a future in which people of all ages and from all sectors communicate and collaborate to make our communities more environmentally, socially, culturally, and economically sustainable. This is possible only when people talk with one another about important community issues, challenges, and opportunities. To that end, the foundation’s passion is “inspiring community conversations for sustainable change” through events such as the Building SustainABLE Communities conference, Reel Change SustainAbility Film Fest, Eco-Blast Kids’ Camp & Concert, Breakfast of Champions, and Women 4 SustainAbility.
