UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm warning ended for central, south Okanagan

OKANAGAN - Environment Canada has cancelled a severe thunderstorm warning for Penticton and Kelowna.

At 2:06 p.m. the weather service issued the warning for the entire central and south Okanagan areas.

It was expected to bring very strong wind gusts, dime to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
