BARRIERE - RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a Barriere woman and her three children who have been missing since early Sunday morning.

Police say the woman and children were reported missing by her husband around 2 a.m., April 17, after they didn’t come home following a cycling trip.

The woman and her children had gone biking in the East Barriere Lake area on Saturday, according to an RCMP media release. When they didn’t arrive home her husband, who is not in the province, reported the family missing.

Police checked their home and found no signs of foul play.

An extensive search was conducted today with search and rescue volunteers and the RCMP helicopter, and around 3:30 p.m. the vehicle was found on South Barriere Lake Road and a short while later the family was located.
