School spirit competition Saturday at Vees game

PENTICTON –This Saturday, when the Vees host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks at the SOEC, it’s the annual School Spirit Competition Night. Presented by Dairy Queen Penticton, the game is in support of the Penticton Soupateria and the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club. Your attendance will make a difference!

Tickets are just $10 for adults and seniors. For children and students, tickets are just $2. $1 from every adult and senior ticket and 50/50 proceeds will be donated to the Penticton Soupateria! Plus, for every person attending the game, CIBC Wood Gundy will generously donate $1.00 to the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club!

For the School Spirit Competition, participating SD#67 schools will be competing for two $500 cash donations for their Parent Advisory Committees (PAC), courtesy of Underwriters Insurance. Winning schools will be competing for the highest game attendance and the school with the most spirit during the game!

Adding to the excitement, Dairy Queen Penticton will be giving away door prizes to the first 400 fans. The two winning schools will also receive redeemable vouchers, courtesy of Dairy Queen Penticton.

This Saturday, show your spirit and support your community, when the Vees battle the Silverbacks on home ice; face-off is 6 pm! Fans can purchase their tickets at the Valley First Box Office (at the SOEC).
