School district hires award-winning educator

School District 67 hires award-winning educator, Anne Tenning, for district aboriginal principal job.

A Victoria aboriginal teacher is School District 67's newest aboriginal eduction district principal.

Anne Tenning worked as a aboriginal academic support teacher for nine years. She holds a master in arts and has a bachelor of education and English and biology degrees from the University of British Columbia.

Tenning was the recipient of the Governor General's Award in 2008 for excellence in teaching Canadian history.
