BC Transit, City of Kelowna, City of West Kelowna, District of Lake Country, Westbank First Nation, District of Peachland and the Regional District of Central Okanagan are getting into the holiday spirit with the return of the Santa Sleigh Bus and the Parade of Lights.

Now in its 13th year, the Santa Sleigh Bus will make more than 30 stops over seven days collecting food, toys and cash donations for the Salvation Army Christmas Hamper program.

Locals can join in the fun when the Santa Sleigh Bus rolls through the region from Dec.6 to 12.

The Santa Sleigh Bus schedule can be found at www.bctransit.com/regions/kel

The Parade of Lights will be held Dec. 11 and 12. Buses will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. from Costco.

Transit operators will take care of the driving, while customers enjoy some of the best decorated homes and businesses in the Kelowna region.

Tickets for the Parade of Lights are available at Q103 and Power 104 with a donation of food, gifts or money to the Salvation Army.
