KELOWNA - A man was arrested after allegedly attempting to sell the booty from his most recent break and enter venture.

At about 5:45 p.m. June 28, police received a report of a break and enter in progress on the 500 block of Okanagan Boulevard. The 26-year-old Kelowna man called police and said he caught someone inside his home and chased him out toward downtown. Later that evening, a man matching the description of the suspect was reported trying to sell stolen property near the Queensway Bus Loop. Police found the suspect inside a nearby Subway restaurant.

The 27-year-old suspect was arrested for break and enter, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. He was remanded into custody and is expected to appear in court today.
