Salmon Arm loses but wins too

SALMON ARM – The 2014 Kraft Hockeyville competition continues without the community of Salmon Arm.

The Shuswap city placed fourth in the competition that will see the winner grabbing $100,000 in arena upgrades.

The fourth place finish translates into $50,000 for the Shaw Centre, which is home to the BCHL’s Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Salmon Arm received almost 850,000 votes.

There are two communities left in the competition.

Sylvan Lake, Alta. is up against Kingston, N.S.
