KELOWNA - Kelowna General Hospital will be getting some state-of-the art equipment thanks to the success for the Grant Thornton 5K Run in Colour on Saturday.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels showed up to get blasted with coloured dust as they walked, ran or wheeled the mini-marathon course along Kelowna's waterfront downtown.
The KGH Foundation will benefit to the tune of $75,000 which will be used to buy equipment for the new Interior Heart and Surgical Centre, currently under contruction.
Last year, local musician Ryan Donn put together a video of the event.
