Rockets take on Portland for first best-of-seven game Friday night

KELOWNA - The Kelowna Rockets and Portland Winterhawks meet in the Western Hockey League's Western Conference Final for the first time ever, beginning this weekend with the opening two games in the best-of-seven series set for Friday and Saturday nights at Prospera Place in Kelowna.

The first 5,000 fans into Prospera Place on Friday night will receive special Rally Towels, thanks to sponsors Save On Foods, Cooper's Foods, Bark 'n Fly Doggie Daycare and Granite Transformations.

Fans are also encouraged to wear white to support the Rockets Playoff Whiteout and Kelowna Firefighters will be at the rink selling Playoff Whiteout T-shirts for $5 with all proceeds to the Kelowna Firefighters charitable programs.
