KELOWNA – Big wins on the road for the Okanagan Rockets over the weekend.
Tyson Jost led the team to a 5 – 4 victory over the Cariboo Cougars on Sunday, earning his third straight hat-trick. He’s now accumulated 15 points over the past three games and set a new club record with 39 goals.
During the match-up, the Rockets were forced to play with a short bench having only 12 players for over 40 minutes of the game.
Sunday’s win comes after a 9 – 2 victory over the Cougars on Saturday. Jost had an amazing performance with four goals and an assist while Liam Finlay netted a goal and three helpers.
The Okanagan Rockets are now 31 – 5 – 2 on the season with just two games left before playoffs. They’ll close out the regular season at Capital News Centre this upcoming weekend against the Vancouver NE Chiefs.
