KELOWNA - The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Vancouver Giants 4-2 on Saturday night at Prospera Place, getting back into the win column, one night after the Giants snapped its 16 game winning streak.

Myles Bell had two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist as well, as the Rockets improved to 33-4-0-2 on the season. Carter Rigby and Justin Kirkland also scored for Kelowna.

The Rockets outshot Vancouver 36-23 in the game, including 18-5 in the second period, when they scored twice to take control of the game.

Jordon Cooke earned the win in net, his 25th of the season.

The Rockets are now heading to Alberta for a six game Western Hockey League road trip that will begin Wednesday in Edmonton.

Kelowna returns to Prospera Place Jan. 22 to host the Everett Silvertips.
