Rider struck by car near Penticton dental office

A motorcyclist was struck by a Lexus stationwagon outside of Carmi Dental Wednesday morning.

PENTICTON — A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday morning when he collided with a vehicle.

A Harley Davidson motorcycle rider was hit by a Lexus stationwagon making an unlawful left turn into the parking lot of Carmi Dental.

Sgt. Rick Dellebuur said the Lexus driver failed to yield to the motorcyclist. The rider was taken to hospital with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries. The Lexus driver was ticketed.
