A power outage in the Shuswap Sunday morning left thousands in the dark for over 2 hours.
About 8,700 BC Hydro customers in Salmon Arm, Blind Bay and Sorrento lost their electricity.
Birds on the wire are being blamed.
BC Hydro’s website says the power went out at about 7 a.m. and was back on at around 9:30 a.m.
