Put spring in your step with West Kelowna recreation programs

WEST KELOWNA - The days are longer, the weather is warmer and what better way to enjoy spring than participating in programs and activities being offered by the City of West Kelowna and its partners in recreation.

The 2016 Spring Rec Guide was released March 4; program registration starts March 7.

The guide has something for everyone, with more than 80 pages of drop-in or registration-based programs and activities taking place at nearly a dozen facilities.

Go to www.westkelownacity.ca/recguide to check out programs and register online or call 778-797-8800.

Parents looking for Spring Break activities for their kids should also check out the guide to see what’s happening at the Mount Boucherie Community, Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic and Webber Road Community Centres.

Events include the 6th annual Easter Egg Scramble on Sunday, March 27 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Memorial Park, 3737 Old Okanagan Highway. See page 81 of the guide for more details.
