Professional arena cross series returns to Penticton

The Canadian National Arenacross Championships will be stopping in Penticton in October.

PENTICTON - The Canadian National Arenacross Tour makes its way to Penticton in October.
Penticton will play host to round five of the Canadian National Championships on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the South Okanagan Events Centre, at 7 p.m.
The tour, which debuted last year, consists of an eight-round professional series which includes an east and west amateur national arenacross pro championship with a total cash payout of over $60,000.
More than 20 amateur classes race for $25,000 worth of prize money and series awards.
This is the second year the tour has stopped in Penticton. This year’s tour begins in Montreal Oct. 1 with round one, completing the tour in Calgary with round six on Nov. 5.
Tickets are available at ValleyFirstTix, by phone at: 1-877-763-2849, or in person at the Valley First box office at the events centre.
Ticket prices are $18, $26, and $36 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under, with a limited number of ticket packages also available.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m.
