UPDATE: Princeton man found dead near rolled tractor identified

A Princeton man, 67, was found dead beside a rolled farm tractor on Summers Creek Road, north of Princeton.

The man who died following a tractor accident near Princeton July 27 has been identified.

He was Barend Vant' Veld, 65, of Princeton.

The B.C. Coroners Service has not revealed the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing.

The family of Vant' Veld have been notified.

5:05 p.m. July 30, 2013

A Princeton man, 67, was found dead near a rolled Bobcat tractor on Saturday.

A search and rescue team was sent out when the man did not come back from a grading job on Summer Creek Road and was reported missing on Friday, a B.C. Coroner's Service official said.

RCMP officers and the coroner's service are investigating the accident. The man's name has not been released.
