Police need your help to find missing Ashcroft man

ASHCROFT - RCMP in Ashcroft are asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing man after his truck was discovered in Alberta.

Vance Clifford Lewis, 45, was reported missing by family members yesterday, Sept. 22. He hasn't been seen since Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 20 in Ashcroft, according to a RCMP media release.

Lewis is described as First Nations, 5'5" tall, 141 lbs. with long black hair and brown eyes.

He drives a 1999 grey Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck with B.C. licence plate JW5984. The vehicle was discovered in the Mossleigh, Alberta area.

It's not known whether Lewis drove the vehicle to its final destination.

Ashcroft RCMP is asking for anyone who sees Lewis to call 911. Anyone who knows where Lewis may be or had seen his truck are asked to contact the Ashcroft RCMP at 250-453-2216 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
