NEKNOMINATION ISN'T JUST A DRINKING GAME ANYMORE

KELOWNA - A social media game inviting excessive drinking was transformed by four Kelowna residents into a challenge to perform random acts of kindness.

The four young men were challenged by a neknominate—like a triple-dog-dare for a new generation. Neknominations typically involve drinking large amounts of alcohol in a few gulps and posting the evidence on social media sites. But these guys changed the rules. Instead they turned alcoholic gluttony into providing bare necessities for the less fortunate.

Follow them in the video as they shop for and then distribute some goodies to homeless people in the city. After several deaths from alcohol poisoning around the world, the nominations have changed by necessity—and for the good.

These fellows also ensure it continues by nominating others to take on the challenge.
