OSOYOOS - The Town of Osoyoos is one of 14 resort communities in the province to benefit from this year’s round of tourism funding.

Osoyoos will receive over $390,000 from the provincial Resort Municipality Initiative in support of the South Okanagan community’s tourist industry, according to a B.C. government media release.

Osoyoos has received over $3 million from the initiative since 2008, using the funding for such tourism initiatives as trail systems, signage, beach cleaning, public art, boat parking, special events waterfront improvements at Gyro Park and marina enhancement.
